Luís Paulo Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Vale in the 4th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 7 minutes into the game, when Leandro Vasconcelos put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Pato City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Olympiada FC:s goal. Emanuel Hermes shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Olympiada FC's Vítor Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Emanuel Hermes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Paulo Paraense was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cícero de Andrade might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over César Marques. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cícero de Andrade ran back to his position shaking his head. César Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cícero de Andrade in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Berger in the 23rd minute of play forced Pato City's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cícero de Andrade's late challenge caught a Olympiada FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cícero de Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Olympiada FC booed when Pato City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vágner Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulo Paraense having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Alfredo Berger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympiada FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of Olympiada FC booed when Pato City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 played minutes, Olympiada FC's Vítor Vale shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luís Paulo Paraense came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olympiada FC reached it. Luís Paulo Paraense came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Olympiada FC's Emanuel Hermes. But to his dismay, Emanuel Hermes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Pato City's zone, Vágner Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Paulo Paraense came out of the goal and Vágner Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. César Marques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cícero de Andrade's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Hermes in the 42nd minute of play forced Pato City's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Meirelles's late challenge caught a Olympiada FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abelardo Meirelles helped the player get up and apologised. Abelardo Meirelles hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Alfredo Berger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Paulo Paraense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Luís Paulo Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Olympiada FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Berger to make the kick off. Pato City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Vítor Vale scored to the left of an out of position Luís Paulo Paraense, making the score, 0-4. Luís Paulo Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Vale in the 59th minute of play. Gugu Eger's late challenge caught a Pato City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gugu Eger helped the player get up and apologised. Gugu Eger hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Pato City's Abelardo Meirelles got a free kick in the 61st minute. Luís Paulo Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Olympiada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Capixaba came free, but César Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Paulo Paraense made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Emanuel Hermes sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute, Abelardo Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olympiada FC's Hermínio Secco was substituted for Emanuel Hermes. Luís Paulo Paraense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermínio Secco in the 75th minute. Vágner Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Luís Paulo Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Cássio Prado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pato City and the Olympiada FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Olympiada FC booed when Pato City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cícero de Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without César Marques having to make a save. Luís Paulo Paraense was a little too slow when Hermínio Secco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-5. Vítor Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulo Paraense having to interfere.
