Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Patativa's Marco Bertassi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermínio Batista in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Loureiro saved Bonival from getting behind. 7 minutes into the match, Oswaldo Rosado notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Patativa's Hortêncio Amaral. Hortêncio Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Patativa's Edgar Negri got a free kick in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Patativa's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Jacinto came free, but Hortêncio Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hortêncio Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Jacinto in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Bonival was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Augusto Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Bonival's Leandro Loureiro got control of the ball when Marco Bertassi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bonival's Leandro Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio Batista in the 18th minute of play. When Hermínio Batista came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Patativa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermínio Batista couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Marcos Jacinto notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Patativa's Hortêncio Amaral. Hortêncio Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Oswaldo Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th match minute, Bonival was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilton Quintal to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Bonival:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Patativa:s goal. Leandro Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Pedro Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseu Paranaense during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Bonival was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Leandro Loureiro managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Patativa's Marco Bertassi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcos Jacinto made a kick off. Perivaldo Nunes hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Jacinto got free with Hortêncio Amaral in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Rosado in the 59th minute of play forced Patativa's goalkeeper Hortêncio Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diogo Godoi in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Loureiro saved Bonival from getting behind. Marcos Jacinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Hortêncio Amaral made a huge save. When Patativa's Ivo Quirino in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bonival's goalie prevented a goal. 74 minutes into the game, Hermínio Batista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Leandro Loureiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leandro Loureiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hermínio Batista's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 83rd match minute, Patativa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Batista to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Bertassi in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Loureiro saved Bonival from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermínio Batista in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leandro Loureiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patativa were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Bonival to leave the ground with a draw.
