After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Alfredinho Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Social Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredinho Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adhemar Tande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute, Alfredinho Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute of the match, Hernani Trigo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Betinho Magalhães saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wesley Schmidt scored 1-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adhemar Tande, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hernani Trigo was the one to do the kick off.
