After a rather tough play, Luverdense Esporte Clube's André Senna got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 11th minute, André Senna fired away a hard free kick towards the goal. Sílvio Prata moved to his left, but didn't have to make a save as the ball went out of bounds. Zé Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Sílvio Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Albuquerque in the 18th minute of the match. Horácio de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Queirós in the 20th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, André Luís Lopez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Horácio de Medeiros, 1-0. Horácio de Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Horácio de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Lopez in the 51st minute of play. Zé Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Sílvio Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cibauma AD's zone, Eduardo Albuquerque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Prata came out of the goal and Eduardo Albuquerque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute Oséias Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cibauma AD booed when Luverdense Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute Delfim Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Luverdense Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias Queirós came free, but Horácio de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cibauma AD fully deserved thier win.
