Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Walmir do Vale started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir do Vale in the 3rd minute of play forced Taipinha AD's goalkeeper Benjamim Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 5 minutes, Ian Garcia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Katchau and the Taipinha AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Katchau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Taipinha AD's Zé Carlos Mendonça couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 6th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Katchau. Fernandinho Mangueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Paiva in the 7th minute of play. Benjamim Cerezo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mário Ribeiro in the 9th minute. Benjamim Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmir do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Ivo Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Taipinha AD's Haroldo Meira got a free kick in the 14th minute. Walmir do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 minutes of play, Katchau's Mário Ribeiro made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamim Cerezo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Taipinha AD's Benjamim Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir do Vale in the 20th minute of play. Walmir do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Benjamim Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walmir do Vale's late challenge caught a Taipinha AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walmir do Vale helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Taipinha AD booed when Katchau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Mathias Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandinho Mangueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Taipinha AD booed when Katchau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mathias Pombal came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Taipinha AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Pombal couldn't finish the play. After 33 minutes of play Katchau's Ian Garcia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Edgard Hermes's late challenge caught a Taipinha AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Hermes helped the player get up and apologised. Edgard Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Taipinha AD's Zé Carlos Mendonça couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Katchau. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mathias Pombal made the kick off in the second half. Falcão Paiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Fernandinho Mangueira made a huge save. In the 56th minute, Mathias Pombal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fernandinho Mangueira. The goal made the score 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Katchau's zone, Falcão Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandinho Mangueira came out of the goal and Falcão Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Falcão Paiva succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 63rd playminute. Mathias Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mário Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Benjamim Cerezo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Katchau. After 80 played minutes Taipinha AD got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos Mendonça. After 86 played minutes, Taipinha AD's Joaquim Mesquita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fernandinho Mangueira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Taipinha AD reached it. After 91 minutes, Mazinho Nogueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Katchau and the Taipinha AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes Katchau got a freekick which was hit by Walmir do Vale. Falcão Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When Falcão Paiva got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Taipinha AD. The Katchau fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Taipinha AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
