Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hernani Trigo made the kick off which started today's match. Mellinho FC's Adhemar Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Judd Benjamini in the 3rd minute of play. Adhemar Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Judd Benjamini in the 4th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Judd Benjamini made a precise shot to the right of Adhemar Tande. Mellinho FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Bruno Favoretto put in a rough tackle. In the 17th minute, one of EquipeCão:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for EquipeCão. EquipeCão:s Cauan Fantini showed great skill when he stopped Geovanni Marquez:s penalty. After 20 minutes of play, Mellinho FC's Geovanni Marquez made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cauan Fantini was left in no man's land by his defense there! Inácio Carioca struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Adhemar Tande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EquipeCão. If Daniel Borniquell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, EquipeCão's Edgar Carvalho got a free kick in the 29th minute. Isaltino Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Adhemar Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniel Borniquell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 43rd minute Daniel Borniquell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adhemar Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Borniquell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adhemar Tande having to make a save. Inácio Carioca scored 1-4 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adhemar Tande, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Borniquell to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Borniquell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Adhemar Tande skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 52 minutes into the game, Inácio Carioca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adhemar Tande. In the 58thth minute of the game Daniel Borniquell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mellinho FC's Adhemar Tande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute, Inácio Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Edmílson de Toledo fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mellinho FC's protests and gave Edmílson de Toledo a yellow card for diving instead. Edmílson de Toledo hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Inácio Carioca might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adhemar Tande. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inácio Carioca ran back to his position shaking his head. 66 minutes into the game, Daniel Borniquell recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adhemar Tande. Mellinho FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Daniel Borniquell 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-7. Daniel Borniquell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Adhemar Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Mellinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Paiva. Romeu de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Cauan Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Borniquell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Inácio Carioca came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the EquipeCão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inácio Carioca couldn't finish the play. EquipeCão's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
