Luís Gustavo Leão made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Sérgio da Cunha sent off a good shot on target. Rodrigo Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sílvio Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatinho Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The supporters of Só Lamento booed when Cibauma AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeu Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renatinho Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Prata having to interfere. Sílvio Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilton Custódio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeu Vinhas's late challenge caught a Só Lamento's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeu Vinhas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cibauma AD getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Amadeu Vinhas hit a great ball. Sílvio Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Cardozo in the 28th minute of the match. Giovanni Santana hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Oséias Queirós received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luís Gustavo Leão came out and tried to block the shot, but Oséias Queirós slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 35th minute. Sílvio Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Cardozo in the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oséias Queirós to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Teixeira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Sílvio Prata when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Renatinho Mineiro charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renatinho Mineiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Renatinho Mineiro hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Sílvio Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Faria in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Cibauma AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Prata having to interfere. Luiz Cardozos short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Sílvio Prata to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Faria in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sílvio Prata saved Cibauma AD from getting behind. Rodrigo Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Renatinho Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes, Frédson Palmeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cibauma AD and the Só Lamento players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sílvio Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Faria in the 84th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes Cibauma AD got a freekick which was hit by André Luís Lopez. 89 minutes into the match, Cibauma AD's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Faria came free, but Sílvio Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Luís Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Luiz Cardozo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 94 minutes, Luiz Cardozo made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cibauma AD's Sílvio Prata tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Cibauma AD were victorious despite being under pressure from Só Lamento for much of the match.
