Spectators: 7488 (Terracing: 5617, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Elivélton Moura took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Tande in the 5th minute of play forced Ferroviário de Tucuruí's goalkeeper Dedé Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Virgílio Cerezo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 16th match minute, SE Digolas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltazar Tande to maneuver through the defense. SE Digolas's Fernando Alvarenga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save SE Digolas from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, SE Digolas's Elivélton Moura got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 21 minutes, Valério Macedo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. SE Digolas's Fernando Alvarenga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elivélton Moura in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dedé Maranhense saved Ferroviário de Tucuruí from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valério Macedo in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Alvarenga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th match minute, SE Digolas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltazar Tande to maneuver through the defense. Dedé Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleiton de Queirós in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dedé Maranhense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute, Cleiton de Queirós made a precise shot to the right of Dedé Maranhense. Ferroviário de Tucuruí's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valério Macedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Elivélton Moura took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Dedé Maranhense to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of SE Digolas booed when Ferroviário de Tucuruí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elivélton Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Ferroviário de Tucuruí's Dedé Maranhense got control of the ball when Cleiton de Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baltazar Cunha succeeded in the game's 63rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. After 69 played minutes SE Digolas got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Mendes. Fernando Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério Macedo in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute of the match João Augusto Sampaio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Alvarenga skillfully saved the ball. In the 76th minute, Ferroviário de Tucuruí's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cleiton de Queirós fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 77 played minutes Ferroviário de Tucuruí got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Maia. Baltazar Tande hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Valério Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Fernando Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valério Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valério Macedo in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Baltazar Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valério Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Fernando Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
