After a defensive mix-up in Gurjao's zone, Dinei Quintal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Cordeiro came out of the goal and Dinei Quintal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Osasco Hot Dogers defense, Luís Eduardo Cardoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudinho Britto. The Osasco Hot Dogers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudinho Britto should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute, Cléberson Dracena made a precise shot to the right of Claudinho Britto. Osasco Hot Dogers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 38 minutes into the match, Osasco Hot Dogers's goal looked a bit too open when Bruninho de Barros came free, but Claudinho Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, one of Gurjao:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 44th minute there was a penalty for Osasco Hot Dogers. Ramón de Godoi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Afonso Cordeiro. 3-2. Basílio de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Cordeiro having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basílio de Brito was the one to do the kick off. Claudinho Britto came out of the goal and Luís Eduardo Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Bruninho de Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinho Britto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. After 71 minutes, Jean Veiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gurjao and the Osasco Hot Dogers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Gurjao got a freekick which was hit by Jean Veiga. 75 minutes into the match, Osasco Hot Dogers's goalkeeper Claudinho Britto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Eduardo Cardoso. 76 minutes into the game, Guga Monteiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Osasco Hot Dogers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gurjao the free kick. Guga Monteiro hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The supporters of Osasco Hot Dogers booed when Gurjao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jailson Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudinho Britto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jailson Siqueira's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
