Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valdemar Valladares started the match with the kick off. Afonso Cordeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdemar Valladares's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gurjao's zone, Yu Yu Mo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Cordeiro came out of the goal and Yu Yu Mo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Yu Yu Mo came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Aracas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yu Yu Mo couldn't finish the play. Valdemar Valladares struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Afonso Cordeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aracas. In the 9th minute, Diogo de Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute, Felipe Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the game, Luís Eduardo Cardoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Téo Matorin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 18 played minutes Aracas got a freekick which was hit by Yu Yu Mo. Afonso Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Valladares in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Valdemar Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Valladares in the 29th minute of the match. Felipe Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, Gurjao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Valdemar Valladares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afonso Cordeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After 39 minutes of play, Aracas's Valdemar Valladares made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afonso Cordeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 42 played minutes Gurjao got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo Cardoso. 44 minutes into the match, Gurjao's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Valladares came free, but Afonso Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Valdemar Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdemar Valladares in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Cordeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Eduardo Cardoso to make the kick off. Valdemar Valladares succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 52nd playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Márcio Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aracas's supporters rose to their feet, but Márcio Loureiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Cordeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Afonso Cordeiro was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Valdemar Valladares capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valdemar Valladares really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar Valladares in the 61st minute of play forced Gurjao's goalkeeper Afonso Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Yu Yu Mo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd match minute, Gurjao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Jailson Siqueira hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Valdemar Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74thth minute of the game Valdemar Valladares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gurjao's Afonso Cordeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Diogo de Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valdemar Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Afonso Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Cordeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serafim Marquez in the 85th minute. Luís Eduardo Cardoso took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Téo Matorin. Téo Matorin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. A hard shot by Rubinho Melo from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Afonso Cordeiro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the final whistle sounded Aracas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gurjao.
