All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tadeu Brasil to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Eduardo Sergipano got free with Hudson Mota in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tadeu Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Vinícius Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeu Brasil in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinícius Vianna saved Olê Porcô from getting behind. Tadeu Brasil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tadeu Brasil struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Vinícius Vianna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abrantes AD. Tadeu Brasil scored 2-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vinícius Vianna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cido Coelho in the 82nd minute of play forced Olê Porcô's goalkeeper Vinícius Vianna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeu Brasil couldn't finish the play. If Cido Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeu Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinícius Vianna having to interfere.
