A collision led to Mirinzal AD getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jarbas Dantas hit a great ball. Ademar Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adriano Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renato de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, Charqueada EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jano Matorin to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jano Matorin in the 34th minute of play forced Mirinzal AD's goalkeeper Ademar Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adriano Vargas scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ademar Urbano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mirinzal AD's Ademar Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Cunha in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Mirinzal AD booed when Charqueada EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamílton Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ademar Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emílio Mendonça stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Nuno Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Charqueada EC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Emílio Mendonça hit a great ball. Rubens Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Lúcio Sarmento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mirinzal AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 69 played minutes Mirinzal AD got a freekick which was hit by Dino Porto. After a rather tough play, Charqueada EC's Adriano Vargas got a free kick in the 70th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Emílio Mendonça notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Mirinzal AD's Ademar Urbano. Ademar Urbano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 83 minutes into the game, Marquinhos Cardozo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Ademar Urbano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Adriano Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Evaristo Cunha could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Ademar Urbano however easily saved by the left post. Jano Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ademar Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jano Matorin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ademar Urbano came out and tried to block the shot, but Jano Matorin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 94th minute. Charqueada EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
