With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulão Veloso in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Siro Abel saved Sedex F.C from getting behind. In the 23rd match minute, Macaia SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joélson Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. After 26 minutes of play, Sedex F.C's Jefferson Dracena made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Fabiano Faria was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, Jefferson Dracena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Fabiano Faria. Macaia SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jefferson Dracena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Jefferson Dracena struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Luís Fabiano Faria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sedex F.C. Tomé Paraibano charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Jefferson Dracena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Fabiano Faria having to make a save. With his leg Luís Fabiano Faria managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Sedex F.C's Ernani Guimarães fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Jefferson Dracena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sedex F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Jefferson Dracena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Pedro Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fabiano Faria having to interfere. After 93 minutes, Ernani Guimarães made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Macaia SS's Luís Fabiano Faria tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Macaia SS defense, Ernani Guimarães kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Fabiano Faria. The Macaia SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Fabiano Faria should have stopped the shot. Sedex F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
