Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Emílio Mendonça got the match started through his kick off. Umberto Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Rubens Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felippe de Souza in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubens Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Emílio Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Evaristo Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Pinto getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. João Adolfo Linhares hit a great ball. After 27 minutes, Jano Matorin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charqueada EC and the Pinto players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Charqueada EC got a freekick which was hit by Jano Matorin. In the 28th minute of the match Umberto Moreira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rubens Neves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinto's goalkeeper Christiano Furtado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Samuca Pena fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pinto's protests and gave Samuca Pena a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes Pinto got a freekick which was hit by Samuca Pena. Christiano Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Mendonça in the 40th minute of play. When Lúcio Sabóia fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pinto's protests and gave Lúcio Sabóia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st match minute, Pinto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaristo Cunha got free with Christiano Furtado in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 48th minute, Jano Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Umberto Moreira made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Emílio Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Charqueada EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emílio Mendonça was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Charqueada EC booed when Pinto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renato de Toledo, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Christiano Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Mendonça in the 58th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Umberto Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinto's supporters rose to their feet, but Umberto Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubens Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felippe de Souza struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Rubens Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinto. After a defensive mix-up in Pinto's zone, Evaristo Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christiano Furtado came out of the goal and Evaristo Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Jano Matorin notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Pinto's Christiano Furtado. Christiano Furtado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christiano Furtado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evaristo Cunha went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Tiago Gabriel Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Christiano Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Pinto's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Mendonça came free, but Christiano Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pinto players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Charqueada EC.
