Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kaká Pinho made the kick off which started today's match. Carlos Fonseca took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ademar Urbano. Ademar Urbano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Pinho in the 12th minute of play forced Mirinzal AD's goalkeeper Ademar Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Lúcio Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Alberto Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Alberto Eger came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Mirinzal AD's Lúcio Sarmento. But to his dismay, Lúcio Sarmento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Nóbrega in the 22nd minute of play forced Mirinzal AD's goalkeeper Ademar Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Carlos Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dormideira SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Carlos Alberto Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Sarmento in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Nuno Couto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo Nóbrega's late challenge caught a Mirinzal AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Nóbrega helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Dormideira SC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Hugo Nóbrega hit a great ball. In the 31st match minute, Mirinzal AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerônimo Lago to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Dormideira SC's zone, Lúcio Sarmento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Alberto Eger came out of the goal and Lúcio Sarmento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nuno Couto during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 played minutes Mirinzal AD got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Couto. Kaká Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ademar Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dormideira SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nuno Couto to make the kick off. With a little luck, Mirinzal AD's Ademar Urbano got control of the ball when Carlos Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Alberto Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Couto in the 60th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Mirinzal AD's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Pinho came free, but Ademar Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ademar Urbano made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Carlos Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Ademar Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Pinho in the 67th minute of the match. With a little luck, Mirinzal AD's Ademar Urbano got control of the ball when Carlos Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 75 played minutes Dormideira SC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fonseca. Benjamin Brito was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 79th minute, one of Dormideira SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dormideira SC. The referee gave Mirinzal AD a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lúcio Sarmento, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dormideira SC's Carlos Alberto Eger. 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Couto in the 85th minute of play forced Dormideira SC's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nuno Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno Couto in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Alberto Eger saved Dormideira SC from getting behind. If Nuno Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 101st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dormideira SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mirinzal AD.
