With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evaristo Cunha in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Alberto Eger saved Dormideira SC from getting behind. The supporters of Charqueada EC booed when Dormideira SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrézinho Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute Evaristo Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Alberto Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
