In the 10thth minute of the game Delfim Melo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Charqueada EC's Rubens Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Mendonça in the 12th minute of play forced União Agrícola Barbarense's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th match minute, União Agrícola Barbarense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Melo to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, União Agrícola Barbarense's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Mendonça came free, but Zé Roberto Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delfim Melo during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zé Roberto Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 42 minutes into the match, Emílio Mendonça notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of União Agrícola Barbarense's Zé Roberto Chaves. Zé Roberto Chaves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zé Roberto Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Cunha in the 45th minute of play. Rubens Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Campidelis in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Allan Mendes was the one to do the kick off. Rubens Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Luisão Sá's late challenge caught a União Agrícola Barbarense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luisão Sá helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Charqueada EC's Luisão Sá got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Delfim Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Rubens Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Natanael Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Dorian Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. União Agrícola Barbarense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dorian Campidelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 minutes of play União Agrícola Barbarense's Delfim Melo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Delfim Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Evaristo Cunha let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 94th minute shot 1-4 at rihgt post. The União Agrícola Barbarense supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Charqueada EC's performance. The match ended with a win for Charqueada EC.
