Atininga's attentive Rony Palmeira managed to snatch the ball when Francisco Vander made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. In the 90th minute César Faustino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Válter Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Azevedo in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atininga had played much better football throughout.
