He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ademar Urbano. 8 minutes into the match, Mirinzal AD's goalkeeper Ademar Urbano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinei Medeiros. Dudu Gerber hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Claudinei Medeiros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Ademar Urbano made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Kalango FC's Felipe Linares got a free kick in the 12th minute. Nilton Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute Nuno Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerônimo Lago took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilton Pinheiro. Nilton Pinheiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Nuno Couto sped through Kalango FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nilton Pinheiro. In the 29th minute, Nuno Couto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mirinzal AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 33rd match minute, Kalango FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Cearense to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Couto scored 1-4 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nilton Pinheiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute Juarês de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42ndth minute of the game Nuno Couto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kalango FC's Nilton Pinheiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Luís Cearense made a kick off. In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for Mirinzal AD. Lúcio Sarmento stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nilton Pinheiro. 1-6. Nilton Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês de Sousa in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luís Cearense in the 61st minute of play forced Mirinzal AD's goalkeeper Ademar Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 played minutes Mirinzal AD got a freekick which was hit by Jerônimo Lago. Nilton Pinheiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuno Couto went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. Nilton Pinheiro was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Lúcio Sarmento capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lúcio Sarmento really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. The supporters of Kalango FC booed when Mirinzal AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juarês de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Jerônimo Lago reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nilton Pinheiro. The goal made the score 1-9. After a rather tough play, Mirinzal AD's Guilherme Barral got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 82 played minutes, Kalango FC's Pedro Luís Cearense shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ademar Urbano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kalango FC reached it. In the 85th minute, Kalango FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lúcio Sarmento fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nuno Couto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Nilton Pinheiro made a huge save. If Claudinei Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Kalango FC's Nilton Pinheiro got control of the ball when Nuno Couto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kalango FC's Nilton Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juarês de Sousa in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute Nuno Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nilton Pinheiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lúcio Sarmento went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-10 was the resulting score. The Kalango FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mirinzal AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
