Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adelino Azevedo started the match with the kick off. Mirinzal AD's Ademar Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Azevedo in the 3rd minute of play. Ademar Urbano came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Atininga's Adelino Azevedo. But to his dismay, Adelino Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luiz Eduardo Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ademar Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Pereira in the 10th minute of play forced Mirinzal AD's goalkeeper Ademar Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ademar Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Lúcio Faria had to leave the field with a concussion. Juarês de Sousa's late challenge caught a Atininga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Ademar Urbano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Adelino Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guilherme Barral charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guilherme Barral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guilherme Barral hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Franklin Pereira didn't quite understand what happened when in the 39 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. 42 minutes into the match, Mirinzal AD's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Azevedo came free, but Ademar Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Atininga's Luiz Eduardo Matos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ademar Urbano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuno Couto made a kick off. Adelino Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Ademar Urbano made a huge save. In the 55th minute Rony Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ademar Urbano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adelino Azevedo in the 56th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atininga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Eduardo Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 73 played minutes Mirinzal AD got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Barral. When Rony Palmeira fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atininga's protests and gave Rony Palmeira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th match minute, Atininga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rony Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Mirinzal AD's Ademar Urbano got control of the ball when Franklin Pereira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jarbas Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Mirinzal AD's Ademar Urbano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Mirinzal AD from getting a goal against them.
