Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pedro Luís Cearense kicked off to start the match. Carlos Alberto Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute Kaká Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nilton Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Pinho in the 11th minute of the match. Carlos Alberto Eger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute of the match, Kaká Pinho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nilton Pinheiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Flavinho Varela received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nilton Pinheiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Flavinho Varela slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. Raimundo Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Fonseca got free with Nilton Pinheiro in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dormideira SC's Carlos Alberto Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Cearense in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Kalango FC's Claudinei Medeiros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Alberto Eger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kalango FC's goalkeeper Nilton Pinheiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Claudinei Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Kaká Pinho made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kalango FC's goalkeeper Nilton Pinheiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Pinho in the 54th minute of play forced Kalango FC's goalkeeper Nilton Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Kalango FC's Pedro Luís Cearense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Alberto Eger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 64th minute, Claudinei Medeiros reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlos Alberto Eger. The goal made the score 2-3. After having played for 69 minutes, Raúl Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalango FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raúl Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Carlos Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dormideira SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Kaká Pinho took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilton Pinheiro. Nilton Pinheiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Fonseca in the 92nd minute of play forced Kalango FC's goalkeeper Nilton Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Luís Cearense might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Alberto Eger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Luís Cearense ran back to his position shaking his head. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
