After 24 minutes, Durval Brodel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kalango FC and the Aratuipe players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Kalango FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval Brodel to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Kalango FC defense, Remo Dantas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilton Pinheiro. The referee gave Durval Brodel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Kalango FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Durval Brodel hit a great ball. With a little luck, Aratuipe's Válter Cunha got control of the ball when Claudinei Medeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 61 minutes of play, Aratuipe's Remo Dantas made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilton Pinheiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Ioan Andronache managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aratuipe's supporters rose to their feet, but Ioan Andronache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilton Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Válter Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinei Medeiros in the 65th minute. Kalango FC's attentive Pedro Luís Cearense managed to snatch the ball when Mathias Diniz made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. Nilton Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remo Dantas in the 68th minute of the match. With a left leg Nilton Pinheiro saved Kalango FC from getting behind. Remo Dantas took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilton Pinheiro. Nilton Pinheiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Ioan Andronache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Nilton Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute Ioan Andronache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remo Dantas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilton Pinheiro having to make a save.
