Reynaldo Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Ortiz in the 19th minute of the match. Reynaldo Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateus de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes Cavalo Crioulo FC got a freekick which was hit by Robinho Medeiros. In the 30th match minute, Toque Me Voy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulinho Mazza to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Laércio Britto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiago Torres was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Cavalo Crioulo FC's Thomás de Lara got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Ortiz was the one to do the kick off. When Thomás de Lara fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cavalo Crioulo FC's protests and gave Thomás de Lara a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, one of Cavalo Crioulo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cavalo Crioulo FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Ortiz during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes Toque Me Voy got a freekick which was hit by Zé Ortiz. Robinho Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th match minute, Toque Me Voy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Cavalo Crioulo FC's Reynaldo Urbano got control of the ball when Mateus de Sena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gildo Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, Zé Ortiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Reynaldo Urbano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reynaldo Urbano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Ortiz in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Toque Me Voy's João Pedro Paiva got a free kick in the 94th minute. Cavalo Crioulo FC were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Toque Me Voy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Thomás de Lara took the corner. Cavalo Crioulo FC's Thomás de Lara was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tiago Torres in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Toque Me Voy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
