UR6 do Imirim's Wilson Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Catarinense in the 3rd minute of play. In the 9th minute Álvaro Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Túlio Botelho's late challenge caught a Curucamba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Túlio Botelho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, UR6 do Imirim's Túlio Botelho got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute, UR6 do Imirim's Bernardinho Arósio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Valdir Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilson Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Valdir Donato cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Luís Eduardo Ferreira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd minute Arif Oğuz Yağızalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Curucamba's Giovanni Lira got a free kick in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Curucamba's zone, Gildo Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Eduardo Ferreira came out of the goal and Gildo Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilson Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Catarinense in the 37th minute of play. Jean Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The UR6 do Imirim fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when UR6 do Imirim's Arif Oğuz Yağızalp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jean Ramalho made the kick off in the second half. Luís Eduardo Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Donato in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, UR6 do Imirim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Túlio Botelho to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Túlio Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. UR6 do Imirim's supporters rose to their feet, but Túlio Botelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Eduardo Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Hermínio Santos fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curucamba's protests and gave Hermínio Santos a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Curucamba fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave UR6 do Imirim a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gildo Cruz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Curucamba's Luís Eduardo Ferreira. 4-0. Luís Eduardo Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Oğuz Yağızalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Túlio Botelho hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 84th match minute, Curucamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Alberto Queirós to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Curucamba getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Bernardo Medeiros hit a great ball. When UR6 do Imirim's Arif Oğuz Yağızalp in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Arif Oğuz Yağızalp came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the UR6 do Imirim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Oğuz Yağızalp couldn't finish the play. Kléberson Gomes's late challenge caught a UR6 do Imirim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kléberson Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of UR6 do Imirim booed when Curucamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 99th minute of the match Gildo Cruz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Eduardo Ferreira skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. UR6 do Imirim had won after a very even match.
