A wasted opportunity for VIPPER 71. 5 minutes into the match, Ismael Bartolome notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Curucamba's Luís Eduardo Ferreira. Luís Eduardo Ferreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Jean Ramalho fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curucamba's protests and gave Jean Ramalho a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Curucamba's Jean Ramalho got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Ronaldinho Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Eduardo Ferreira came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by VIPPER 71's Ronaldinho Galvão. But to his dismay, Ronaldinho Galvão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 16th match minute, VIPPER 71 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enéas Pereira to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Téo Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jean Ramalho came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Curucamba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean Ramalho couldn't finish the play. Luís Eduardo Ferreira made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Enéas Pereira sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Mello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Luís Eduardo Ferreira made a huge save. VIPPER 71 were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Curucamba's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lenny Turner took the corner. Curucamba's Luís Eduardo Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enéas Pereira in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Curucamba's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Ferreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enéas Pereira. The crowd rose to their feet as VIPPER 71's Sydney Cunha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luís Eduardo Ferreira. That made the score 3-0 after 37 minutes of play. Ronaldinho Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Luís Eduardo Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Curucamba booed when VIPPER 71 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenny Turner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in VIPPER 71's zone, Álvaro Catarinense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto de Salles came out of the goal and Álvaro Catarinense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jean Ramalho made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, VIPPER 71's Ismael Bartolome made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Eduardo Ferreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 61st match minute, VIPPER 71 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Mello to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, VIPPER 71's Lenny Turner got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Ismael Bartolome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Luís Eduardo Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Alberto Queirós hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Sydney Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Ismael Bartolome struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Luís Eduardo Ferreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VIPPER 71. Enéas Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sydney Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Eduardo Ferreira having to interfere. In the 78th minute Ismael Bartolome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldinho Galvão scored 5-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Eduardo Ferreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Curucamba's Luís Eduardo Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Galvão in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, VIPPER 71's Luís Eduardo Bastos got a free kick in the 91st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Medeiros during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee ended the match the VIPPER 71 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
