After a defensive mix-up in Juventus Foot Ball Club's zone, Jonathan Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vito Saraiva came out of the goal and Jonathan Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luan Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Vito Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Jonathan Furtado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vito Saraiva having to make a save. In the 23rd minute, one of Juventus Foot Ball Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Juventus Foot Ball Club. Fernandão Reis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matheus Pitta's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Fernandão Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After some careless play in the Grêmio PR defense, Matheus Pitta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernandão Reis. The Grêmio PR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernandão Reis should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito Saraiva having to interfere. Luan Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Vito Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldo Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito Saraiva having to interfere. In the 46th minute Matheus Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandão Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Grêmio PR's Emanuel Campidelis got a free kick in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matheus Pitta made a kick off. In the 58th minute Aírton da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandão Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernandão Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Grêmio PR! Fernandão Reis had in the 62ndth minute some difficulties stopping Aírton da Costa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Fernandão Reis came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Juventus Foot Ball Club's Jânio Coelho. But to his dismay, Jânio Coelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Vito Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Garcia in the 68th minute of play. After 71 minutes of play, Grêmio PR's Osvaldo Garcia made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vito Saraiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vito Saraiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Furtado's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Osvaldo Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Jonathan Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito Saraiva having to interfere. Emanuel Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Vito Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vito Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Fernandão Reis made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Matheus Pitta sent off a good shot on target. If Jonathan Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute, Jonathan Furtado made a precise shot to the right of Vito Saraiva. Juventus Foot Ball Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Grêmio PR walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
