Tarcisio Galvão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Edson de Azevedo made a huge save. Braulio Toli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson de Azevedo having to interfere. Raí Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Tarcisio Galvão scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edson de Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute Julio Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edson de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.E Paineira Branca's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Liu Xiang Zhen was slow to take the kick. During this time JEC - FC's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, S.E Paineira Branca's Edson de Azevedo got control of the ball when Tarcisio Galvão tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Braulio Toli managed to get in a good position for a shot. JEC - FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Toli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edson de Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to S.E Paineira Branca getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Raí Capixaba hit a great ball. 23 minutes in the game, Julio Baptista fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Edson de Azevedo having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Braulio Toli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edson de Azevedo. That made the score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. In the 29th minute, Julio Baptista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edson de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Toli in the 30th minute of the match. Edson de Azevedo came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by JEC - FC's Ricardinho Maia. But to his dismay, Ricardinho Maia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 39 minutes into the game, Douglas Meira lined in a short shot 5-0 behind a frustrated Edson de Azevedo. 6-0 became the score in the 44th minute when Douglas Meira elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

After 52nd play minutes Douglas Meira shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Edson de Azevedo and just under the crossbar into goal. Pedro Luís Pereira hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Liu Xiang Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edson de Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Douglas Meira's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. The audience was convinced that Braulio Toli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edson de Azevedo was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Edson de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the game, Blas Jenaro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Edson de Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78thth minute of the game Douglas Meira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.E Paineira Branca's Edson de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Blas Jenaro kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Alexandre Tepedino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edson de Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. After 85 minutes, Alexandre Tepedino made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. S.E Paineira Branca's Edson de Azevedo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edson de Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandre Tepedino went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the S.E Paineira Branca defense, Braulio Toli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edson de Azevedo. The S.E Paineira Branca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edson de Azevedo should have stopped the shot. JEC - FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
