An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Augusto Gerber in the 18th minute of play forced Helmet Football Club's goalkeeper Tiago Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hasan Hüseyin Alkım took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiago Dantas. Tiago Dantas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 26th minute Raí Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jefferson Davila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Edson de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pedro Augusto Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nico Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Helmet Football Club's protests and gave Nico Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes Helmet Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Nico Fonseca. In the 43rd match minute, Helmet Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gugu da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. S.E Paineira Branca's Hasan Hüseyin Alkım got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Helmet Football Club's Tiago Dantas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Helmet Football Club from getting a goal against them. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hasan Hüseyin Alkım made a kick off. After 51 played minutes S.E Paineira Branca got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luís Pereira. S.E Paineira Branca's Edson de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans McKnight in the 52nd minute of play. After 56 played minutes Gugu da Rocha rounded S.E Paineira Branca's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. In the 59th minute, Hans McKnight hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, S.E Paineira Branca's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Fonseca came free, but Edson de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edson de Azevedo came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Helmet Football Club's Nico Fonseca. But to his dismay, Nico Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 73 minutes into the match, S.E Paineira Branca's goal looked a bit too open when Délio Peixoto came free, but Edson de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Augusto Gerber during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th match minute, S.E Paineira Branca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Augusto Gerber to maneuver through the defense. If Hasan Hüseyin Alkım had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute.
