Valdomiro Seco came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by GURIZADA FUTEBOL CLUBE's Gernando Prado. But to his dismay, Gernando Prado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Santiago FC's Dráusio Pernambucano in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GURIZADA FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalie prevented a goal. In the 14th minute of the match Edmundo de Amaral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdomiro Seco skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Santiago FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Alfredinho Guerra hit a great ball. Cauan Donato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Lenílson Soares made a huge save. In the 19th minute, André Luiz Cavalcante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santiago FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Manuel Damião lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 28th match minute, GURIZADA FUTEBOL CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos de Amorim to maneuver through the defense. When Marcos de Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GURIZADA FUTEBOL CLUBE's protests and gave Marcos de Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. Marcos de Amorim hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Felipe Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vivaldo Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. A hard shot 35 in the game by André Luiz Cavalcante from a close distance when the talented Lenílson Soares managed to make a qualified save. GURIZADA FUTEBOL CLUBE's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Prado in the 36th minute of play forced Santiago FC's goalkeeper Valdomiro Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dráusio Pernambucano, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 39 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Lenílson Soares was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Vivaldo Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Santiago FC's Dráusio Pernambucano got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dráusio Pernambucano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. GURIZADA FUTEBOL CLUBE's Lenílson Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráusio Pernambucano in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Hortêncio Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gernando Prado took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdomiro Seco. Valdomiro Seco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Valdomiro Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Felipe Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Valdomiro Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Felipe Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot. GURIZADA FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Berger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdomiro Seco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute, Dráusio Pernambucano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lenílson Soares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Alfredinho Guerra hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Santiago FC's Claudinei Pires sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lenílson Soares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute, André Luiz Cavalcante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lenílson Soares was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Lenílson Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz Cavalcante in the 90th minute of the match. GURIZADA FUTEBOL CLUBE's Lenílson Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráusio Pernambucano in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luiz Cavalcante in the 94th minute of play forced GURIZADA FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper Lenílson Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lenílson Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráusio Pernambucano in the 96th minute of play. Santiago FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
