The supporters of Juventus Foot Ball Club booed when S.E Paineira Branca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luís Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. S.E Paineira Branca's Edson de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton da Costa in the 10th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Juventus Foot Ball Club's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Augusto Gerber came free, but Vito Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Matheus Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus Foot Ball Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matheus Pitta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juventus Foot Ball Club's Vito Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hasan Hüseyin Alkım in the 23rd minute of play. Vito Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasan Hüseyin Alkım in the 25th minute of play. If Pedro Augusto Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Augusto Gerber during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th match minute, S.E Paineira Branca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Augusto Gerber to maneuver through the defense. Matheus Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson de Azevedo having to interfere. The shot was a little too simple and Edson de Azevedo could save by the left post. Aírton da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson de Azevedo having to interfere. S.E Paineira Branca's Edson de Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save S.E Paineira Branca from getting a goal against them. Hasan Hüseyin Alkım sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hasan Hüseyin Alkım was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Matheus Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edson de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edson de Azevedo guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.E Paineira Branca's goalkeeper Edson de Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matheus Pitta in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edson de Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee felt a red card was in order, 84 minutes into the game, when Narciso de Medeiros put in a rough tackle. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for Juventus Foot Ball Club. Aírton da Costa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edson de Azevedo. 1-0. Matheus Pitta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 91 minutes, Robinho de Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventus Foot Ball Club and the S.E Paineira Branca players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of S.E Paineira Branca booed when Juventus Foot Ball Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robinho de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nilson Saldanha came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the S.E Paineira Branca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nilson Saldanha couldn't finish the play. Pedro Augusto Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito Saraiva having to interfere. Many of S.E Paineira Branca's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. S.E Paineira Branca may have spent more time on the ball, but Juventus Foot Ball Club were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
