Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Zanette in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Eduardo Vargas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Eduardo Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Zanette in the 6th minute of play. After 7 played minutes Blue Mountain State got a freekick which was hit by Walmyr Gaúcho. In the 13th minute Celso Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eduardo Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonsinho da Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jailson Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Celso Zanette recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luiz Eduardo Vargas. Celso Zanette showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jailson Oliveira in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonsinho da Mata saved Rajado from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celso Zanette in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Eduardo Vargas saved Blue Mountain State from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Humberto de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredinho de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Luiz Eduardo Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Blue Mountain State's Luiz Eduardo Vargas got control of the ball when Alfredinho de Medeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blue Mountain State's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Celso Zanette scored to the left of an out of position Luiz Eduardo Vargas, making the score, 2-0. In the 37th match minute, Rajado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Varela to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jailson Oliveira in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonsinho da Mata saved Rajado from getting behind. Afonsinho da Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Romo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Afonsinho da Mata didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enzo Romo went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After having played for 51 minutes, Enzo Romo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blue Mountain State's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Romo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Afonsinho da Mata managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Blue Mountain State's Angelo Paublo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Oliveira in the 55th minute of play forced Rajado's goalkeeper Afonsinho da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Jailson Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blue Mountain State's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jailson Oliveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rajado's Celso Zanette in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 65th minute, Jailson Oliveira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Afonsinho da Mata. The goal made the score 2-2. 69 minutes into the match, Rajado's goalkeeper Afonsinho da Mata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enzo Romo. A collision led to Rajado getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Wágner Fontes hit a great ball. Afonsinho da Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Romo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Afonsinho da Mata came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Blue Mountain State's Enzo Romo. But to his dismay, Enzo Romo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After a rather tough play, Rajado's Wágner Fontes got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 80 played minutes, Blue Mountain State's Humberto de Sena shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Afonsinho da Mata came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Blue Mountain State reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Paublo got free with Afonsinho da Mata in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfredinho de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo Vargas having to interfere. Celso Zanette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelo Paublo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Afonsinho da Mata firmly grabbed it by the left post. Luiz Eduardo Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. When the final whistle sounded Blue Mountain State left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rajado.
