Spectators: 7523 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Celso Zanette started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Rajado's Afonsinho da Mata got control of the ball when Juan Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. Afonsinho da Mata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anísio Cordeiro's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Afonsinho da Mata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Hoffmann in the 15th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Rajado defense, Juan Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afonsinho da Mata. The Rajado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonsinho da Mata should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute Anísio Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonsinho da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonsinho da Mata was a little too slow when Paulinho Hoffmann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Rajado's zone, Juan Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonsinho da Mata came out of the goal and Juan Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 played minutes Rajado got a freekick which was hit by Kléberson Queiroz. 31 minutes into the match, Rajado's goalkeeper Afonsinho da Mata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Andrade. Juan Andrade scored 3-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonsinho da Mata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Laguna Sunrise FC's Emílio Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Zanette in the 42nd minute of play. Afonsinho da Mata made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Juan Andrade sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute, Paulinho Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulinho Hoffmann to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Paulinho Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonsinho da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonsinho da Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celso Zanette got free with Emílio Peres in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Celso Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the game, Laguna Sunrise FC's Paulinho Hoffmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afonsinho da Mata made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When Juan Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Laguna Sunrise FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Andrade couldn't finish the play. Rajado's Afonsinho da Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Andrade in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Rajado getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Wágner Fontes hit a great ball. Paulinho Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Laguna Sunrise FC made a substitution. Reinaldo da Costa replaced Paulinho Hoffmann. After 85 minutes Rajado's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wellington Ferraz who took care of the corner kick. Rajado's Afonsinho da Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anísio Cordeiro in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Rajado's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Andrade came free, but Afonsinho da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Rajado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonsinho da Mata should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Laguna Sunrise FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
