In the 25th minute Hortêncio Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonsinho da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Coaraci's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Celso Zanette scored to the left of an out of position Edgard Tavares, making the score, 2-0. When Rajado's Celso Zanette in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celso Zanette to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Coaraci's zone, Egídio Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Tavares came out of the goal and Egídio Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Rajado:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Coaraci:s goal. The referee gave Coaraci a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Giovanni Penha, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rajado's Afonsinho da Mata. 2-1. In the 61stth minute of the game Celso Zanette who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coaraci's Edgard Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 65 minutes, Luís Guilherme Catarinense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coaraci and the Rajado players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Coaraci got a freekick which was hit by Luís Guilherme Catarinense. In the 68th minute, Eliseu Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celso Zanette in the 77th managed to get into a good position. Edgard Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Kléberson Queiroz took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgard Tavares. Edgard Tavares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. There was no doubt that Rajado were the better team. Rajado's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
