Gláuber Lucas scored 3-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cacá Moreno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Augusto Faria had several of the Cumbe EC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-5 score and a disappointed Tony de Alcântara as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Madureira got free with Tony de Alcântara in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tony de Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Carlos Augusto Faria sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Tony de Alcântara successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 86th minute Aníbal Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Chiquinho Reis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tony de Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-6. After having played for 92 minutes, Leonardo da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Furia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo da Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Furia's goal looked a bit too open when Gláuber Lucas came free, but Cacá Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Carlos Augusto Faria fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Furia's protests and gave Carlos Augusto Faria a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th match minute, Furia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Augusto Faria to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Furia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
