The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Bandeirantes's zone, Thibault Cointe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinei Botelho came out of the goal and Thibault Cointe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thibault Cointe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldo Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Botelho having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Rodolfo Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Loucos Por Jesus FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Andrade came free, but Albrecht Waldemann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cesinha Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th match minute, Bandeirantes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Valadares to maneuver through the defense. Claudinei Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thibault Cointe, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesinha Cordeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Bandeirantes defense, Thibault Cointe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudinei Botelho. The Bandeirantes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudinei Botelho should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Bandeirantes booed when Loucos Por Jesus FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Thibault Cointe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loucos Por Jesus FDFDF's supporters rose to their feet, but Thibault Cointe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinei Botelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 67 minutes into the match, Loucos Por Jesus FDFDF's Thibault Cointe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinei Botelho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patrick Sarmento helped the player get up and apologised. Thibault Cointe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Loucos Por Jesus FDFDF's Albrecht Waldemann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesinha Cordeiro in the 101st minute of play. Loucos Por Jesus FDFDF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bandeirantes for a fine match.
