The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vasco IB. Eriberto Neiva went to the wrong direction when Nando Gerber was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When the final whistle sounded Vasco IB left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than XV de Piracicaba.
