Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Paraiso SS's Roberto Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Almeida in the 3rd minute of play. Roberto Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Paraiso SS's goal looked a bit too open when Serginho Hoffmann came free, but Roberto Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute Marquinhos Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Paulo Cruz took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Prata. Roberto Prata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Paraiso SS's Elói Valladares got a free kick in the 20th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Elói Valladares put in a rough tackle. Roberto Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anderson Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Paulo Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Paraiso SS defense, Serginho Hoffmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Prata. The Paraiso SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Prata should have stopped the shot. Geraldo de Almeida struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ademar Leme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraiso SS. Geraldo de Almeida blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ademar Leme having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geraldo de Almeida to make the kick off. Roberto Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Hoffmann in the 56th minute of the match. When Luís Fernando Moura fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraiso SS's protests and gave Luís Fernando Moura a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th match minute, Paraiso SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fernando Moura to maneuver through the defense. After 69 minutes of play, Jardim Botânico's Vladimir Almeida made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roberto Prata was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Serginho Hoffmann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roberto Prata. That made the score 1-5 in the 74 minute of play. After some careless play in the Jardim Botânico defense, Geraldo de Almeida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ademar Leme. The Jardim Botânico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ademar Leme should have stopped the shot. Ademar Leme came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Paraiso SS's Geraldo de Almeida. But to his dismay, Geraldo de Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. After 85 minutes of play, Paraiso SS's Luís Fernando Moura made it 4-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ademar Leme was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the match, Jardim Botânico's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo de Almeida came free, but Ademar Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Paraiso SS's goalkeeper Roberto Prata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Paulo Cruz. In the 93rd minute Pedro Paulo Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Paraiso SS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Jardim Botânico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
