João Augusto de Souza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Antônio Carlos Quintal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Laércio Cardozo struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Antônio Carlos Quintal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nando Gerber got free with Antônio Carlos Quintal in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Laranjo EC's Antônio Carlos Quintal got control of the ball when Laércio Cardozo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gonçalo da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antônio Carlos Quintal came out of the goal and Gonçalo da Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antônio Carlos Quintal didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when XV de Piracicaba's Laércio Cardozo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Antônio Carlos Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio Cardozo in the 44th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Laranjo EC defense, Laércio Cardozo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antônio Carlos Quintal. The Laranjo EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antônio Carlos Quintal should have stopped the shot. In the 74thth minute of the game Laércio Cardozo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laranjo EC's Antônio Carlos Quintal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 75 minutes of play, XV de Piracicaba's Laércio Cardozo made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antônio Carlos Quintal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute, Laércio Cardozo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laércio Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio Carlos Quintal having to interfere. Antônio Carlos Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto de Souza in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Laércio Cardozo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antônio Carlos Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Gerber in the 89th minute of play. Antônio Carlos Quintal came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by XV de Piracicaba's Gonçalo da Rocha. But to his dismay, Gonçalo da Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Laércio Cardozo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laranjo EC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
