Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Raúl Perez got the match started through his kick off. After 10 minutes, Anísio Guerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vasco IB and the Nacional Atlético Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Nacional Atlético Clube booed when Vasco IB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raúl Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Neiva having to interfere. Sandro Neto hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Aloísio Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vasco IB's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Lucas Tepedino scored to the left of an out of position Eriberto Neiva, making the score, 1-1. Lúcio Furtado came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Vasco IB's Marcos Čech. But to his dismay, Marcos Čech quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Eriberto Neiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josué Munhoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eriberto Neiva made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Vladimir Campidelis sent off a good shot on target. Marcos Čech fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Furtado having to interfere. After the first half Vasco IB were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dráuzio Martins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lúcio Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráuzio Martins in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Vladimir Campidelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Douglas Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vasco IB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Nacional Atlético Clube defense, Aloísio Leite kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lúcio Furtado. The Nacional Atlético Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lúcio Furtado should have stopped the shot. Aloísio Leite struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Lúcio Furtado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vasco IB. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Čech in the 69th minute of play forced Nacional Atlético Clube's goalkeeper Lúcio Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Dráuzio Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Vasco IB booed when Nacional Atlético Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th match minute, Vasco IB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Guerra to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Vladimir Campidelis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nacional Atlético Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Lucas Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josué Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Furtado having to interfere. Aloísio Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dráuzio Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anísio Guerra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lúcio Furtado. Nacional Atlético Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcos Čech received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Lúcio Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasco IB's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
