Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Geraldo Ramos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th play minute Rui Schmidt came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vágner Pena. 1-0. Breno Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidnei Palmeira in the 10th minute of the match. Sidnei Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno Mello having to interfere. When Sidnei Palmeira came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Mabedery fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidnei Palmeira couldn't finish the play. Chiquinho Lucas hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Donato Romero shot a long shot in the 18th minute and a light blocked Vágner Pena hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-0. With a little luck, Mabedery's Vágner Pena got control of the ball when Rui Schmidt tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Geraldo Ramos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vágner Pena. Geraldo Ramos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Breno Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidnei Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Adhemar Cerezo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cruzalia EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mabedery the free kick. In the 30th minute, one of Cruzalia EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cruzalia EC. Vágner Pena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Rui Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vágner Pena having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Rui Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cruzalia EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Schmidt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Rui Schmidt sped through Mabedery's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vágner Pena.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sidnei Palmeira to make the kick off. Edgard Palmeira hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Vágner Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Schmidt in the 52nd minute of play. Rui Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Vágner Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vágner Pena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aníbal de Mendonça during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aníbal de Mendonça was shown his second yellow card after 64 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 65th match minute, Cruzalia EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Breno Mello was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edgard Palmeira. After 67 played minutes Mabedery got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Jacinto. Donato Romero, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sidnei Palmeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Breno Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Cruzalia EC got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Ramos. After a defensive mix-up in Cruzalia EC's zone, Oswaldo Vieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breno Mello came out of the goal and Oswaldo Vieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sidnei Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Rui Schmidt sped through Mabedery's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vágner Pena. Rui Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vágner Pena having to interfere. Rui Schmidt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sidnei Palmeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Breno Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vágner Pena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Schmidt in the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mabedery players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cruzalia EC.
