If Vladimir Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Jadis charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tommy Jadis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Loucos Por Jesus FDFDF's Tommy Jadis got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Vladimir Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loucos Por Jesus FDFDF's Albrecht Waldemann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vladimir Almeida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albrecht Waldemann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Ademar Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thibault Cointe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimir Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Garcia during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Loucos Por Jesus FDFDF getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Osvaldo Garcia hit a great ball. Ademar Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thibault Cointe, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Vladimir Almeida might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albrecht Waldemann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vladimir Almeida ran back to his position shaking his head. Loucos Por Jesus FDFDF's Ernesto Dante got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonçalo Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vladimir Almeida was the one to do the kick off. Albrecht Waldemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimir Almeida in the 54th minute of play. When Marquinhos Dracena came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Jardim Botânico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marquinhos Dracena couldn't finish the play. When Pedro Paulo Leão fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Loucos Por Jesus FDFDF's protests and gave Pedro Paulo Leão a yellow card for diving instead. Jardim Botânico made a substitution. Anderson Teles replaced Serginho Hoffmann. A collision led to Loucos Por Jesus FDFDF getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Pedro Paulo Leão hit a great ball. If Vladimir Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 63rd minute, Ernesto Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Loucos Por Jesus FDFDF's zone, Vladimir Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albrecht Waldemann came out of the goal and Vladimir Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thibault Cointe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademar Leme having to interfere. 79 minutes in the game, Vladimir Almeida fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Albrecht Waldemann having to interfere. Jardim Botânico's Gonçalo Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Loucos Por Jesus FDFDF's goalkeeper Albrecht Waldemann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anderson Teles. Albrecht Waldemann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Almeida in the 83rd minute of the match. Ademar Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thibault Cointe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Vladimir Almeida ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albrecht Waldemann was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When the final whistle sounded Jardim Botânico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Loucos Por Jesus FDFDF.
