Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alan Pereira kicked off to start the match. When Zézinho Saraiva came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Trojans United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zézinho Saraiva couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Alan Pereira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PAIA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jaime Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Paulão Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Trojans United getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Zézinho Saraiva hit a great ball. Afonsinho da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Pereira in the 27th minute of play. Alan Pereira's late challenge caught a Trojans United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Pereira helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes PAIA got a freekick which was hit by Alan Pereira. Alan Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Afonsinho da Costa made a huge save.

When Christiano de Lima came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the PAIA fans jumped to their feet. In the 54th match minute, Trojans United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedê Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Alan Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Christiano de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. PAIA's supporters rose to their feet, but Christiano de Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonsinho da Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zézinho Saraiva hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Alan Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Afonsinho da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Christiano de Lima fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PAIA's protests and gave Christiano de Lima a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes PAIA got a freekick which was hit by Christiano de Lima. Marcus Rodrigues charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcus Rodrigues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 88 played minutes Trojans United got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Rodrigues. If Jaime Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. PAIA had won after a very even match.
