An unexpectedly hard shot by Jânio dos Santos in the 9th minute of play forced Albino's goalkeeper Elder Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Jânio dos Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elder Galvão. Albino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jânio dos Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Albino's Eduardo Bertassi got a free kick in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Giuseppe Simões was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. scain's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Albino the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of scain:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Albino:s goal. Valdemar Cardozo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raí Matos. scain's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the scain defense, Ignacio Tyler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raí Matos. The scain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raí Matos should have stopped the shot. Elder Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Arlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, scain's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Bertassi came free, but Raí Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Dito Ferraz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. scain's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Albino the free kick. A collision led to scain getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Dito Ferraz hit a great ball. Raí Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Tyler in the 41st minute of the match. Elder Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jânio dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elder Galvão came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by scain's Felix Arlo. But to his dismay, Felix Arlo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Albino's Marcus de Salles was substituted for Eduardo Bertassi. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jânio dos Santos made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Víðir Hafþórsson in the 55th minute of play forced Albino's goalkeeper Elder Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elder Galvão came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by scain's Felix Arlo. But to his dismay, Felix Arlo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Elder Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Arlo in the 64th minute of the match. Elder Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jânio dos Santos in the 66th minute of play. Valdemar Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Bruninho Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 71 minutes, Ignacio Tyler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Tyler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elder Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víðir Hafþórsson in the 74th minute of the match. Elder Galvão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jânio dos Santos's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The supporters of Albino booed when scain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus de Salles in the 82nd minute of play forced scain's goalkeeper Raí Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elder Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víðir Hafþórsson in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Rômulo do Nascimento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave scain the free kick. Valdemar Barros's late challenge caught a Albino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdemar Barros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute Jânio dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 99 minutes, Felix Arlo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. scain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Arlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that scain were the better team. scain's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
