Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Japurá city's Ediberto Quadros started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valdo Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Jarbas Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, Nilton Sanches was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Japurá city's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATOMOS FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Japurá city fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernani Ferreira during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ediberto Quadros in the 11th minute of play forced ATOMOS FC's goalkeeper Didi Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Japurá city's Rafael Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ediberto Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdo Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Japurá city's Nilton Jacinto got a free kick in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manfredo Pena got free with Jarbas Quirino in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, ATOMOS FC's Ernani Ferreira got a free kick in the 31st minute. Didi Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A collision led to ATOMOS FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Luís Gustavo Vinhas hit a great ball. ATOMOS FC's Didi Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto Quadros in the 37th minute of play. Didi Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ediberto Quadros in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Luís Gustavo Vinhas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATOMOS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Japurá city the free kick. In the 47th minute, Luís Gustavo Vinhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After having played for 55 minutes, Rafael Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Japurá city's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Magalhães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Ediberto Quadros lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated Didi Carioca. In the 59th match minute, Japurá city was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Guilherme Dantas to maneuver through the defense. Jarbas Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfredo Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Ediberto Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rafael Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ATOMOS FC's Didi Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto Quadros in the 83rd minute of play. Didi Carioca was a little too slow when Ediberto Quadros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 91st minute, Manfredo Pena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Japurá city's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
