When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abel Siqueira made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Os Centenários 1901 MZPE's Gilberto Leão got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 57th minute, Rafael Magalhães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Walmir Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Magalhães in the 62nd minute. Gilberto Leão hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Didi Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Os Centenários 1901 MZPE's Walmir Torres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Os Centenários 1901 MZPE from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Japurá city booed when Os Centenários 1901 MZPE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Torres having to interfere. The Japurá city supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Japurá city would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
