Ernani Ferreira took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulryk Czubski. Ulryk Czubski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manfredo Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ulryk Czubski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdo Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Ulryk Czubski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATOMOS FC. The supporters of ATOMOS FC booed when Sarutaia SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráusio Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Manfredo Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesinha Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After the first half ATOMOS FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Dráusio Amaral made the kick off in the second half. If Dráusio Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dráusio Amaral during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Dráusio Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cássio Xavier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ulryk Czubski.
