William Moura helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes Trojans United got a freekick which was hit by William Moura. 10 minutes into the match, Os Centenários 1901 MZPE's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquinho Freire came free, but Nando Gamarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Trojans United booed when Os Centenários 1901 MZPE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trojans United's Afonsinho da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Vargas in the 15th minute of play. Nando Gamarra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chiquinho Freire went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Trojans United getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. William Moura hit a great ball. A hard shot 24 in the game by Abel Siqueira from a close distance when the talented Afonsinho da Costa managed to make a qualified save. Trojans United's players were relieved. Afonsinho da Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel Siqueira went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Os Centenários 1901 MZPE getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Abel Siqueira hit a great ball. After 35 played minutes, Trojans United's William Moura shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nando Gamarra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Trojans United reached it. Marcus Rodrigues hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 42 minutes of play, Trojans United's Zézinho Saraiva made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nando Gamarra was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Trojans United were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Zézinho Saraiva made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Zézinho Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Gamarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Yuri Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmir Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Chiquinho Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Nando Gamarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Trojans United got a freekick which was hit by Betinho Sabóia. Afonsinho da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Vargas in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76thth minute of the game Abel Siqueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trojans United's Afonsinho da Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zézinho Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Nando Gamarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chiquinho Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Leão hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Afonsinho da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Siqueira in the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zézinho Saraiva in the 89th minute of play forced Os Centenários 1901 MZPE's goalkeeper Nando Gamarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Os Centenários 1901 MZPE's goalkeeper Nando Gamarra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chiquinho Freire.
