After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Diogo Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brimos Futebol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Diogo Sergipano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulão Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th minute, Brimos Futebol Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alfredão Munhoz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 6 minutes into the match, PAIA's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Tetradze came free, but Paulão Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Diogo Sergipano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulão Bezerra. PAIA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diogo Sergipano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Pedro Luiz Lopes might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulão Bezerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Luiz Lopes ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bebeto Tetradze in the 13th minute of play forced PAIA's goalkeeper Paulão Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th match minute, PAIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vágner Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. When Cássio Porto came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Brimos Futebol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Porto couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Brimos Futebol Club booed when PAIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiano de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the PAIA defense, Bebeto Tetradze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulão Bezerra. The PAIA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulão Bezerra should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the game, Brimos Futebol Club's Bebeto Tetradze nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulão Bezerra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 25th minute, Pedro Luiz Lopes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulão Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebeto Tetradze in the 32nd minute of the match. Paulão Bezerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diogo Sergipano went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Paulão Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Meireles in the 37th minute of play. Paulão Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebeto Tetradze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diogo Sergipano in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulão Bezerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bebeto Tetradze took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulão Bezerra. Paulão Bezerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Paulão Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Bebeto Tetradze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brimos Futebol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bebeto Tetradze to make the kick off. Paulão Bezerra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Diogo Sergipano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 51 minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, PAIA's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Sergipano came free, but Paulão Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulão Bezerra didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Brimos Futebol Club's Bebeto Tetradze shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-9 in the ordered_time% minute. If Manuel Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otávio Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute of the match, Diogo Sergipano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paulão Bezerra saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Otávio Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulão Bezerra having to interfere. A collision led to Brimos Futebol Club getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Cássio Porto hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Meireles in the 95th minute of play forced PAIA's goalkeeper Paulão Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
