When Sebastião Mandrak came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the SC Conapool fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastião Mandrak couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Meireles struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Luiz Motta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Verdadeira. 9 minutes into the game, Narciso Brodel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Conapool's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verdadeira the free kick. The supporters of Verdadeira booed when SC Conapool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Douglas Lago came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the SC Conapool fans jumped to their feet. The supporters of Verdadeira booed when SC Conapool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juvenal Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Conapool's zone, Miguel Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Motta came out of the goal and Miguel Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Douglas Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Raúl Tepedino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Miguel Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Luiz Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Conapool's Hélio Rezende pulled a muscle in his leg after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 44 minutes, Dida Cunha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Verdadeira and the SC Conapool players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Verdadeira getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Dida Cunha hit a great ball. The Verdadeira players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Conapool were winning 0-1.

In the 52nd minute, Miguel Ramos made a precise shot to the right of Luiz Motta. SC Conapool's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, SC Conapool's André Luís Vaz got a free kick in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Douglas Lago notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Verdadeira's Raúl Tepedino. Raúl Tepedino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Raúl Tepedino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Douglas Lago went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, SC Conapool's Rui da Rocha got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute Miguel Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Miguel Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Verdadeira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Ramos couldn't finish the play. Miguel Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Douglas Lago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Osvaldo Perez hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Raúl Tepedino was a little too slow when Rui da Rocha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 1-4. Emanuel Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Motta having to interfere. SC Conapool's Luiz Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Meireles in the 93rd minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Douglas Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Conapool's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Lago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 played minutes SC Conapool got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Brodel. 96 minutes into the match, SC Conapool's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Meireles came free, but Luiz Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Verdadeira fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Conapool were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
