An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Brodel in the 5th minute of play forced Piratas's goalkeeper Severino Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Motta made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Nestor Veloso sent off a good shot on target. Severino Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 67th minute, Douglas Lago reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Severino Quintal. The goal made the score 0-2. 72 minutes into the match, Douglas Lago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severino Quintal. Piratas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Douglas Lago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. A collision led to SC Conapool getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Douglas Lago hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Piratas's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Mandrak came free, but Severino Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Severino Quintal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 82 played minutes SC Conapool got a freekick which was hit by André Luiz Lira. After a defensive mix-up in SC Conapool's zone, Nestor Veloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Motta came out of the goal and Nestor Veloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severino Quintal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas Lago in the 85th minute. Severino Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Mandrak in the 88th minute of play forced Piratas's goalkeeper Severino Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Sebastião Mandrak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Severino Quintal, 0-4. Douglas Lago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severino Quintal having to make a save. The Piratas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Conapool's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Conapool.
